Iqbal Day, Ceremony at Govt. Graduate College for Women, Wahdat Road, Lahore

In connection with Iqbal Day, a graceful ceremony was held on 18 Nov 2025 at Government Graduate College for Women, Wahdat Road, Lahore. On this occasion Dr. Tahira Sikandar, former Principal of Government Jinnah Degree College for Women, and Chairman of the Allama Iqbal Stamp Society, Mian Sajid Ali and Khoula Masood Assistant Director Coordination Directorate of Lahore attended as special guests.

The distinguished speakers shed comprehensive and insightful light on the life, personality, and philosophical thoughts of Allama Iqbal.

At the end of the ceremony, the Principal of the college, Dr. Humaira Arshad, expressed her gratitude to the participants, delivered the closing remarks, and presented honorary shields to the esteemed guests.

On this occasion, a special exhibition was arranged by the Allama Iqbal Stamp Society, featuring postage stamps issued in honor of Allama Iqbal along with related artifacts. The exhibition drew keen interest and appreciation from both teachers and students.
